Design thinking has emerged as a significant problem-solving process, and it is no surprise that "design attitude" is becoming a central concern of businesses and institutions worldwide.
Join in for this third session in our design thinking series: "Design Processes and Tools". We will focus on elements of design process that serve as problem-solving tools for Organizational Development practitioners.
Feel free to join us without having attended prior session in this series: we will be cycling through our discussions of design thinking, and we are looking forward to another lively interdisciplinary discussion.
With the continuing help of architect and design educator Tom Szumlic, and with host Emily Rogers, we'll deepen our insights on how we do what we do... and how to do it even better in today's dynamic marketplaces.

Tom Szumlic is currently the owner/director of MOD.el, whose mission is to "merge the design and building process to best deliver exemplary environments." As a founding department chair for The Art Institute of Tampa, Tom guided the human resources of faculty and students in the context of a community of practice. He is an executive leader, architect, interior designer, design advocate, design strategist, educational consultant, and educator with experience in the fields of architecture, interior design, industrial design, building construction, and design education.

Emily Rogers received her master's degree from Rutgers University in Public Policy and International Development. She holds a Certification in Organizational Development and a CompTIA Project+Certification in Project Management. She is an active member of the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation as well ASTD, SHRM, WorldatWork, HR Tampa, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Kent Linder will reference his OD resume by calling himself a "large systems" guy. He prefers, however, to be know as a ukulele player.
