In 1974, 22 learning and development professionals in the Tampa Bay area completed the petition for Chapter Chartering and wrote the first Suncoast Chapter Constitution. The Charter was approved by National ASTD in September and was presented for a Suncoast Chapter vote on November 21, 1974.
