A Practical Method for Aligning L&D Strategy
with Business Goals
with Dara Moore
An exploration of how to use brainstorming methods to align L&D strategy with organizational goals and frameworks, incl. Value/Vision/Promise statements. This discussion leverages a real use case, a Mural board template, and a strategy output format that articulates alignment to multiple company goals and frameworks, including an exec summary and tactical actions. These methods can, and have been, leveraged for similar alignment work for business functions, not just L&D, so it’s cross-functionally effective.
