This interactive program will explore the relationship between higher education and businesses in the community. Traditional training and performance models will be evaluated in the context of higher education to help identify opportunities for improvement. By looking at higher education from the perspective of performance improvement, we hope to gain a better insight into ways to help enhance the connection between colleges and the companies they serve.
About the Facilitator: Steve Goodfriend is the Professional Education Manager for Rasmussen College in Brandon, FL. He works specifically with organizations in the Tampa Bay area to help them recruit, retain, and develop their employees. He has 15 years experience in post-seconday education, involved in various aspects of corporate training and development.
