Financial wellness for your employees effects the health of your organization
The 2008 financial crisis and the great recession exposed Americans' flawed
understanding of personal finance and the concepts of budgeting, debt
reduction and managing loans. While many companies believe the subject
should be taught to their employees, the fact is that many don't have the
expertise or comfort level to provide a balanced educational program.
For years, business and human resource leaders have provided their employees
with wellness programs focusing on health. But research shows that an
employee who is financially stable - and not worried about their family's
money - is a happier, more productive employee.
Speaker Bio:
Brian Pope, president of Pope Financial Planning, has been a pioneer in the
area of designing corporate financial wellness programs tailored to the
company's unique needs. Holding a Master's Degree from the University of
Georgia, Pope is the lead Dave Ramsey Certified Coach® in Tampa Bay. Over
the years, he's helped clients craft financial plans for the first time,
learn how to manage money, avoid bankruptcy, pay off debt and build wealth.
OUTLINE OF EVENT TIME FRAME:
Arrival and Networking 11:30 am to 11:45 am
Speaker introductions (salads served) 11:45 am - 12 pm
Speaker Presentation (with lunch) 12 pm - 12;45 pm
Networking 12:45 pm - 1 pm
Disclaimer: While we do anticipate a sold out event for each Lunch and Learn, events that do not have a minimum of 10 paid registrants, prior to the deadline, will be canceled. Registration deadlines are 72 hrs. before the scheduled event. Full refunds will be issued should a cancelation by ASTD occur.
