Please mark your calendars and join us for the Suncoast ASTD-Sarasota Geographic Interest Group (GIG) Meeting on March 5, 2013 at 6 pm.
Jessica Selasky is president and co-founder of Confidence Builders International. Since forming Confidence Builders in 1994, Jessica has designed and delivered a series of training programs for a variety of companies throughout the United States. She is co-author of the book, Your Public Speaking Workout, and is currently writing a new book titled, Non-Stop Confidence. Jessica is the past president of the Greater Cincinnati ASTD Chapter.
Why is it that some people seem to speak with total confidence and absolute charisma? Jessica Selasky of Confidence Builders will share their proven 6 ½ Step Model for Public Speaking. The concepts are easy to understand and are created to be used immediately. During the presentation, participants will learn how to turn ordinary, ho-hum presentations into events that sizzle. Participants will learn to use techniques such as eye contact and hand gestures in positive ways. They will learn the best practices and the easiest ways to prepare a presentation, and they will tap into their natural creative juices to promote their ideas.

The Suncoast Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development offers this Geographic Interest Group meeting to its members who live or work in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. The cost to attend is $15 for ASTD members and $20 for guests and other non-ASTD members. Dinner is included in the cost of the meeting.
