Consider this: might critical thinking be way more than a 7 step process you learned in 19XX?
And: how should OD consultants approach the need for intervention when critical thinking (or its lack) is the issue?
Dr. Bob Preziosi returns to OD-SIG's February 3rd meeting where these and related questions will be collaboratively discussed.
Subsets of criticall thinking to be considered will include 4 key areas: strategic thinking, decision making, problem solving, and creativity-innovation.
Important to note:
recent articles have identified critical thinking as the most critical leadership skill needing development as our leaders move into 2012.
We will have greeters on hand to welcome you, and guide you in a slightly more structured but still informal networking period as you arrive.
For our customary check-in round, we ask that you come having considered the question: What three adjectives would describe a completed, implemented, and successful Leadership Development program?
There is no cost for this event. However, in an effort to prepare appropriately, it would be a great help to know who is planning to to attend. RSVP to Bevan Gray-Rogel at brogel@tampabay.rr.com
