Speaker Bio:

Joel is a Senior Learning Designer at FM Global, responsible for leading curriculum development for field engineers. Prior to FM Global Joel ran his own instructional design consulting business with clients including Raytheon, IBM, Fidelity and other Fortune 500 companies. Joel is the author of three web design textbooks that have been translated into multiple languages and has taught web and instructional design at both Northeastern University and UMASS Boston.

Session Summary:

In this presentation Joel details how FM Global was able to transform their 2-week in-person classroom experience to online virtual learning in just 3 weeks. You will learn how to replicate your existing classroom learning on a remote platform while minimizing new development, leveraging online platform capabilities, and keeping the student experience interactive, engaging and social.
