Essential Partnerships: The importance of a shared learning transfer accountability between managers, trainers and learners

Description:

Does this sound familiar? An employee attends a training course but when he’s back in the office, behavior doesn’t change and the new skill isn’t honed. What happened? When learners don’t apply knowledge from the training courses they take, with the support of their managers, “it’s the trainer’s fault.” And when that happens, it makes for a lot of wasted effort, time, and money, as well as frustration. There’s a better way to ensure that knowledge is used, practiced, and refreshed after the training course, and it involves shared responsibility and accountability. It begins, however, well before the training event.

Learning objectives:

This webinar will dive into the importance of the learning transfer and the key roles for success. By attending this webcast, you will:

  • Understand the learning transfer grid and the roles within
  • Understand how important the manager/trainer/learner relationship is
  • Learn 3 steps to foster an effective learning relationship
