Flipped Learning: Creating a Win-Win Blended Learning Experience

‘Employee engagement’, ‘time away from the job’ and ‘return on investment’ are present day challenges for all Learning and Development teams. Technology has enabled staff development to be offered now under a number of modalities - from live in-person instructor-led training to on-demand eLearning. These are the best of times but also the worst of times as Learning and Development professionals (internal or external) are under pressure to deliver better results with fewer resources, in the most cost-efficient and time-effective manner.

The challenge therefore for training professionals is – how do you create a learning experience that engages learners, limits time away from the job, leverages technology AND STILL provides sustainable and significant organizational results.

In this highly practical session, participants will explore how using a Flipped Learning model allows both the organization and individuals to win by providing an experience that maximizes face time and promotes greater application in the workplace.

  • What is flipped learning and why it is important in engaging employees in the modern workplace
  • How to create a blended learning experience based on solid flipped learning principles
  • Tools and techniques that can be used to create flipped learning at low cost – but high impact
