    Role open due to organizational growth and expanded role for Human Resources, the Talent Management Specialist is responsible for designing effective talent learning and development programs to support departmental and organizational objectives.

    Job Responsibilities:  

    • Leads the design and administration of organization-wide talent development programs, liaising with leadership to ensure that programs align with organizational objectives.

    • Designs and administers talent programs, such as 360-feedback, career development, management development, and/or performance management.

    • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify critical learning gaps.  Develops meaningful, well-aligned talent learning and development programs that address both departmental objectives/needs and critical organizational knowledge.

    • Manages talent mobility programs; identifies transferrable skillsets across the organization, consulting departmental leaders on mobility requests, and designing programs that help team members adapt their career plans in a way that aligns with organizational needs.

    • Assists with the design of executive development programs, tailoring learning content to identified skill gaps/external trends and liaising with HR leadership to create content that prepares identified future leaders for their roles.  

    • Develops key performance indicators (KPIs) and comparator organization benchmarks related to talent development, liaising with stakeholders to aggregate and analyze relevant statistics, leveraging data analytics and determining ROI for programs.  Reports findings and makes suggestions for improvements.

    • Coordinates with department leaders and managers to identify opportunities to improve team member engagement through meaningful developmental activities, designing professional development opportunities that cultivate team members’ unique interests and strengths in a way that aligns with organizational needs/skill gaps.

    • Supports the development of talent development governance activities, recommending appropriate protocols that promote team member growth and unit innovation.  Communicates policies with the HR Department and other involved stakeholders.

    • Collaborates with team members to maintain alignment between development and assessment activities, translating performance insights into targeted development initiatives and ensuring consistent application of competency models.

    • Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and facilitates proper knowledge transfer in order to maintain alignment and expedite issue resolution.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in talent assessment and development

    • Experience creating quality customized training content from assessment to development to implementation and evaluation

    • Proficient in using Human Capital Management systems (Workday, Success Factors, etc.) and/or Learning Management Systems (Workday, Success Factors, etc.)

    • Ability to utilize talent systems and applications effectively

    • Experience creating quality customized training content in both classroom and e-learning formats from assessment to development to implementation and evaluation.

    • Proficient in using MS Office applications with key strengths in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and/or Project

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees 

    • Proven ability to deal effectively with diverse skill sets and personalities and work effectively as a team player

    • Highly organized with ability to multitask, adapt quickly, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, manage several projects at one time, and utilize time effectively

    • Strong analytical skills for identifying and solving issues

    • Ability to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
