    Job Description

    The key purpose of this position is to identify leadership development needs, create and facilitate learning opportunities for current, in-succession and emerging people-leaders, and close leadership proficiency gaps in support of individual and organizational success. This position does not have any direct reports.

    • Research, partner (internally and externally), assess, plan, design, develop and facilitate leadership development opportunities, programs and curricula based on best practices across all modalities including but not limited to: in-person & remote instructor-led, web-based & e-learning, synchronous & asynchronous collaborative, social & threaded, cooperative & events-based, and blending learning where appropriate. (40%)
    • Conduct and maintain processes and activities for identifying, assessing and developing current and emerging leaders as part of comprehensive succession planning. Build and maintain collaborative relationships to identify development needs, assess potential and readiness for people-leadership, and provide guidance for planning individual development and career progression. (30%)
    • Gather and analyze leader performance information and other relevant data to address competency gaps and evaluate effectiveness of development opportunities. Identify and/or advise for application and reinforcement of learning, providing follow up to development and ongoing leader support. (20%)
    • Work in-tandem with team members to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to learning, and a two-way flow of communication and validation, ensuring high-quality learning. Utilize internal and external relationships to advance collective leader development and proficiency. (10%)


    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Master’s Degree Preferred)
    • Minimum 3-years relevant experience
