    Job Description

    Supports the e-Campus learning management system (currently provided by Blackboard). The LMS Manager is the University subject matter expert regarding the use, functioning, uninterrupted application, and updates to the learning management system. The Learning Management System Manager shall provide the University with the administration, delivery, and management of online courseware and technical online course support for faculty and students using the learning management system. • Provides first-level second- and third-level LMS technical support to students and faculty regarding the e-Campus system. • Develops and implement government-approved strategies, processes, and procedures for categorization, retention, and access to data in the e-Campus system. • Works with JSOU registrars to create and manage procedures regarding management of student accounts in the e-Campus system. • Manages student accounts and enrollment process into the LMS. • Creates course and collaboration pages in accordance with approved template guidelines. • Works with JSOU instructional designers to incorporate courseware into new course iterations. • Develops and produce system-wide reports using internal reporting tools and Google Analytics. • Works with JSOU graphic designer to create and manage the brand graphics and overall design look and feel of the e-Campus system. • Manages software upgrade and downtime procedures. • Work with the JSOU distance learning team to provide classroom instruction to JSOU instructors on e-Campus policies and procedures; • Delivers upgrades to complex technology and software support packages. • Supports the monthly e-Campus Council of JSOU e-Campus administrators.

    Qualifications

    SECRET clearance required, TOP SECRET/SCI clearance eligible. • BA/BS required in an Instructional Technology or related field. • 4 years’ Instructional Technology or related experience. • 4 years’ providing first-level learning management system technical support
