Personal Productivity – How to Gain Control of Your Time and Email

Studies show that one of the biggest drains on employee time is inefficient use of email; the average office worker wastes more than 73 minutes of each day just managing email!  This session will provide some important time management tips that will not only help manage the email inbox, but will also provide tips on the more efficient use of contacts, calendars, and tasks that will improve team communications and help in setting and meeting top daily priorities.

"We each have a certain number of hours in each day in our lives.  No matter how hard we try, we can't make an hour hold any more than 60 minutes; time is our ultimate capital, our fundamental inventory.    How we spend it determines how valuable our lives turn out to be."     Pat Whalen

Patricia Whalen, Ph.D., is Regional Director for Priority Management, a global training company that provides both online and in-person workshops to help organizations better utilize their existing communication technologies.  She has been a faculty member at Northwestern and DePaul University and has written two books on integrated communications.  We are fortunate to have Pat Whalen present at our March meeting on the topic: Personal Productivity – How to Gain Control of Your Time and Email.
