    Job Description

    As the assistant training specialist, you’ll work with the training team at our corporate headquarters in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. You’ll get to support our operations training department by helping to organize, schedule and plan learning events, assist with course materials, create notification communication and manage training supplies. This role is a perfect fit for motivated, driven individuals who want to grow within the organization.

    • Support our training programs, including assistance with facilitating training courses, setup and maintenance of training rooms, and development of training manuals.
    • Coordinate all training-related activities and events, including scheduling and preparing course materials for tests, evaluations, handouts and other training aids.
    • Create and organize training data, reports and course schedules.
    • Assist with the delivery of training at our state-of-the-art training facility.
    • Work on applications and support documentation for various grants (including local, state and federal grants and funding).

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ work experience in training, teaching or a related field.
    • Someone who is extremely organized, creative and obsessed with the details.
    • A great communicator, with excellent interpersonal, written, proofreading and editing skills.
    • A self-motivated self-starter who excels at multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities and deliverables.
    • A problem solver with excellent analytical skills who loves seeking out answers.
    • Someone who is customer-oriented and dedicated to quality.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
    • Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth.
    • Non-smoker.
